On the Day of Judgment when we stand before Almighty Allah and get held accountable for everything that we have done, the first thing that Allah is going to ask us will be about prayer. It is one of the most fundamental things in a Muslim’s life. It is what separates Muslims from non-Muslims as the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “Verily between man and between polytheism and unbelief is the negligence of prayer.” (Muslim)
Here, Sheikh Ahmad Saleem talks about three common mistakes that nullify our prayer while most of us are unconscious about them.
First and foremost, many people are in rush while making ablution (wudu’), and they forget to wash their elbows, ankles, or they forget to wash their face completely which makes the ablution incomplete and so prayer will be invalid.
